11/7/09 - Beautiful Chaos (re-interpreted) Video

Hello everyone...I just uploaded a new video to our youtube page. The original intent was just to get an image or two so people who search for us on youtube could find our music. After I started messing around, I thought it would be interesting/challenging to "re-interpret" the song as an outsider who didn't know the meaning behind the lyrics, then pick imagery that could still go with it. I took the approach as if I was a director who never spoke with the band and had no idea what the lyricists intentions were.

I think it's especially interesting, because this is the only song that I co-wrote the lyrics. The title and theme came from an unfinished poem, and I was asked to put it to music and add whatever lyrics I felt were appropriate. Willow (the poet) told me what her poem was about, and I did my best to stay in line with her original message when completing the lyrics. With this video, I did the exact opposite.
